This market will resolve to “Yes” if Xi Jinping, the Chinese government, any authorized representative of the Chinese government announces the purchase of at least one Boeing aircraft by the Chinese state or any Chinese company between market creation and May 22, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. A qualifying announcement must explicitly indicate that the Chinese government or a Chinese company will purchase or order, or has definitively agreed to purchase or order, at least one Boeing aircraft. Only definitive announcements will qualify. Suggestions, negotiations, expressions of openness, general support for diplomacy, or other non-definitive statements will not qualify. Any qualifying purchase or order announced within this market’s time frame will count, regardless of whether or when the purchase is actually completed or the aircraft is delivered.
