An incoming early September storm system is the primary driver behind trader consensus favoring highs of 64–69°F for Seattle on September 2, with 66–67°F holding the highest implied probability. Official National Weather Service guidance and model consensus indicate cloudy skies, periods of rain totaling 0.1–0.25 inches, and south winds gusting to 25 mph, suppressing daytime warming below the early-September climatological average of 74°F. Recent forecast updates have stabilized expectations near 66°F across multiple sources, with limited upside potential unless steering patterns or cloud cover shift markedly before the daily maximum occurs.
