**Current forecasts from multiple meteorological sources point to overnight lows in Atlanta on September 3 in the lower to mid-70s °F, aligning closely with the market's top outcomes (76-77°F at 34.5%, 74-75°F at 29.0%, and 72-73°F at 26.0%).** Persistent high pressure, clear to mostly clear skies, and light southeast winds are limiting radiational cooling under a warm late-summer air mass, keeping minimum temperatures elevated relative to the long-term average low of ~68.8°F. Model consensus shows highs in the mid-90s during the day with only modest overnight drops, consistent with recent patterns of above-average warmth and low precipitation chances. The tight clustering around 72-77°F reflects this stable setup, with differentiation hinging on exact model guidance for dew points, wind speed, and any subtle changes in cloud cover or boundary-layer mixing. Historical September extremes (record low 58°F) remain unlikely without a significant cold front, which is not indicated in current data. Updated National Weather Service or NOAA model runs over the next 24 hours could shift probabilities within this narrow band.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=katl
This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button.
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
