Morocco’s parliamentary elections on September 23 will determine the composition of the House of Representatives and shape the next government, with the King appointing the prime minister from the leading party or coalition. Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, leader of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), holds the highest implied probability as her party campaigns aggressively to expand its seats and position her for the role, including recent candidate announcements and the integration of prominent figures like Fouzi Lekjaa. Nizar Baraka of the Istiqlal Party and contenders from the National Rally of Independents (RNI) and other groups remain competitive due to the fragmented party landscape, ongoing coalition negotiations among current partners, and the absence of a clear frontrunner in pre-election positioning. The tight market reflects uncertainty over final seat totals and post-vote alliances, with outcomes hinging on regional results and any last-minute shifts in voter turnout or endorsements.
