The 2027 Baja California Sur gubernatorial race remains highly fluid more than a year before voting, with trader odds clustered tightly around 36–50% across a wide field reflecting early-stage uncertainty. Morena holds the strongest party-level positioning in recent surveys at roughly 39%, well ahead of PAN, yet its internal selection process features multiple contenders including Milena Quiroga Romero, Manuel Cota Cárdenas, Christian Agúndez Gómez and others whose support varies by poll. No candidate has secured a decisive advantage, as party conventions, potential alliances, and voter priorities such as tourism, water resources and public safety have yet to consolidate around frontrunners. Developments that could widen gaps include formal party nominations expected later in 2026, shifts in state or national polling, or emerging coalitions ahead of the September 2026 start of the official campaign period.
