Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models show Atlanta under a strong mid-level ridge promoting subsidence and clear skies on September 17, with light northeasterly flow limiting moisture and supporting highs in the low to mid-90s—above the late-September climatological average near 83°F. This setup aligns with the market's leading 90-91°F outcome at 54.5% implied probability, as recent observations and short-term guidance indicate minimal cooling or convective interference. Traders appear to weigh the narrow window for 92-93°F against typical model spread and historical September maxima, with resolution hinging on the official daily high from Atlanta-area stations.
