Current National Weather Service and ensemble forecasts for Los Angeles on September 18 indicate mostly sunny conditions after morning marine layer clearance, with highs centered in the mid-to-upper 70s under moderate southwest onshore flow. This setup aligns with climatological norms near 76°F and supports the market's heavy weighting toward 76-77°F as the leading outcome. Limited warming potential stems from persistent cool Pacific influence and absence of offshore wind or high-pressure amplification, while model consensus shows low probability of reaching 80°F or dropping below 74°F. Updated NWS guidance and afternoon observations on the 17th will refine these ranges ahead of resolution.
