Recent National Weather Service and private forecasts for Los Angeles on September 18, 2026, converge on an overnight low in the mid-60s Fahrenheit, driven by a persistent marine layer, light winds, and mostly clear skies that permit moderate radiational cooling moderated by Pacific influence. Recent climatological data from Los Angeles International Airport show September lows typically averaging near 63–64°F, with the past week featuring similar mid-60s readings under stable high pressure. These conditions underpin the market’s strongest implied probabilities on the 64–65°F and 66–67°F bins. Model consensus remains tight for this short-range period, though minor variations in fog timing or wind could shift the exact minimum by a degree or two at official reporting stations.
