Recent forecast guidance for Panama City, Panama, shows trader consensus centering on a 30–32°C high for September 16, driven by typical late-rainy-season conditions with moderate trade winds, scattered convection, and partial cloud cover limiting peak solar heating. Historical September maxima average near 30°C, while current model runs indicate potential for brief clear spells that could push readings to 31–32°C or increased afternoon showers keeping them at or below 30°C. El Niño influences, with over 90% probability persisting, may subtly suppress regional moisture and elevate baseline temperatures relative to neutral years. Short-term uncertainty stems from divergent model solutions on exact timing and intensity of tropical convection, with new observational data and updated runs expected daily ahead of market resolution.
