Official National Weather Service forecasts for Denver on August 30 project a high near 88°F under partly sunny skies, with a 30-40% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms driven by southwest flow and increasing moisture. These conditions, following yesterday’s 93°F peak, are expected to promote cloud cover and convective cooling that limits extreme heating at the 5,280-foot elevation. Model consensus and observational trends support the market’s heavy weighting toward 86-89°F bins, with limited upside risk from stronger storms or drier clearing. Traders monitor updated NWS briefings and radar trends through the afternoon peak-heating window for any last adjustments.
