Recent ensemble forecasts from sources including the Finnish Meteorological Institute, ECMWF, and GFS cluster Helsinki's September 7 maximum temperature around 16–18 °C, aligning with the seasonal climatological mean of 16.9 °C for that date. Mild southwesterly flow, limited cloud cover, and Baltic Sea moderation support daytime highs near 17 °C, with model consensus showing low likelihood of significant deviation. Trader positioning on 17 °C (46.5 % implied) and 18 °C (28.5 %) reflects this narrow forecast range and minimal expected variance in the final 48-hour window before resolution. Updated model runs and FMI briefings over the next two days remain the key catalysts that could shift probabilities if guidance trends warmer or cooler.
