**Forecast consensus points to a minimum temperature in the mid-50s°F for Seattle on September 7, 2026, aligning closely with the market's top probabilities on 54–55°F (33.5%) and 56–57°F (30%).** Short-range guidance from sources including WeatherBug, local meteorological services, and ensemble models shows overnight lows settling in the mid to upper 50s under partly cloudy skies and light southerly or variable winds, following daytime highs near 68–76°F. This reflects typical early-September climatology, where the historical average low is 54.5°F, with minimal cold-air advection or radiative cooling expected to push values lower. The 52–53°F bin (24.5%) captures the lower end of model spread and potential for clearer skies enhancing cooling, while higher bins like 58–59°F (11.5%) account for slightly warmer marine influence or cloud cover. Traders appear to emphasize the narrow forecast window—stable high pressure and no significant fronts through the period—producing tight clustering around the 52–57°F range rather than extremes. Historical records show September 7 lows as low as 45°F but with recent years more commonly in the mid-50s, reinforcing the current model-driven sentiment. Updated National Weather Service or NOAA briefings closer to the date could refine this further.
