**Recent polar air advection has driven cooler-than-average overnight lows in Buenos Aires, with short-range forecasts from multiple models converging on a September 7 minimum near 5–7 °C.** A strong southwest flow and clear skies on September 5 produced lows around 3–4 °C, but northerly winds and gradual moderation are expected to lift the September 7 overnight low several degrees while still remaining below the long-term September climatological minimum of ~9 °C. Key differentiating factors among the closely matched market outcomes include the precise timing of the wind shift from southerly to northerly, the degree of nocturnal radiative cooling under partly cloudy skies, and any small discrepancies between ensemble members in boundary-layer moisture and 850 hPa temperatures. Official monitoring (e.g., Servicio Meteorológico Nacional) and global model consensus currently favor values in the mid-single digits, yet the 1–2 °C spread typical of 48-hour forecasts keeps several adjacent buckets competitive. Updated model runs and local observations over the next 24–48 hours will narrow the range and likely shift implied probabilities.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=saez
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
