Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other agencies indicate mostly sunny skies and light to moderate onshore westerly winds for San Francisco on September 13, supporting a high near the long-term seasonal average of 70–71°F. Recent cooling after an early-September heat spike—with a 94°F reading on the 9th—has stabilized marine influence and suppressed further warming, aligning with the market’s heaviest weighting on the 70–71°F bin. Ensemble guidance shows limited spread, with only modest model-to-model differences in boundary-layer mixing and cloud cover that could nudge the outcome into the adjacent 68–69°F or 72–73°F ranges. Updated runs expected overnight and tomorrow morning will provide the final observational adjustments before resolution.
