Trader consensus favors a 25°C high in Zhengzhou on September 10 at 28% implied probability, driven by the latest ensemble runs from global and regional models showing typical early-autumn conditions over the North China Plain. Key variables include daytime cloud cover and boundary-layer mixing that cap radiative heating, alongside prevailing northeasterly flow that limits warm advection from the south. Lower outcomes around 23–24°C gain traction if thicker stratus or precipitation develops, while probabilities drop sharply above 26°C absent stronger subsidence or clear-sky enhancement. Official updates from the China Meteorological Administration and fresh model cycles tonight will refine these thresholds ahead of market resolution.
