Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Dallas on September 10 projects a daily minimum in the upper 70s under persistent southerly flow and high pressure, well above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 72°F. This setup favors continued heat with limited overnight cooling due to high dew points and weak winds. The near-even market split between 71°F or below and 90°F or higher highlights genuine short-range forecast uncertainty from model spread in boundary-layer mixing and any subtle frontal influences, even as consensus runs lean warmer. Traders weigh the next NWS updates and ensemble shifts ahead of resolution.
