**Trader consensus centers on an overnight low in the upper 70s for Houston on September 10, 2026, with the 78–79°F bin holding the highest implied probability at 79%.** Official National Weather Service and private forecasts consistently project a minimum near 78–80°F, driven by elevated dew points (mid-70s), persistent cloud cover, and scattered thunderstorms that limit radiational cooling. Recent observations from Houston-area airports show early-morning readings holding around 78–81°F amid calm to light southeast winds and high humidity, consistent with the warmest September climatology on record in recent years. Lower ranges (74–75°F or below) retain secondary probability near 45–50% only if unexpected clearing allows more cooling than modeled, while bins above 80°F carry negligible odds given the current steering pattern and moisture. Upcoming model updates and real-time station data through the evening will determine whether the minimum settles at the lower or upper end of the favored range.
