Official National Weather Service and private forecasts for Houston on September 10, 2026, point to a daily high in the low 90s amid partly sunny skies, southeast winds near 5 mph, and a 40-50% chance of showers or thunderstorms after midday. These conditions, driven by Gulf of Mexico moisture and typical late-summer instability, favor convective development that often limits peak temperatures. The date's 1991-2020 climatological average high stands at 90.3°F, with recent analogs showing 86-97°F depending on storm timing. Trader consensus in the 90-91°F bin at 50% reflects this model agreement and low likelihood of extreme deviation, though any delayed storm initiation could push readings into the 92-93°F range.
