Persistent high pressure and southerly flow have maintained elevated overnight lows across North Texas, with official forecasts from the National Weather Service projecting a minimum temperature in the upper 70s for Dallas on September 12. Multiple model runs and real-time observations align on a low near 76–77°F under mostly clear skies and heat indices exceeding 105°F during peak heating, far above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 71.5°F. Trader consensus at 98.5% for the 76–77°F bin reflects this tight observational and model agreement. Only an unforecasted increase in low-level moisture or rapid wind shift could pull readings into the low 70s, though current guidance shows no such development before the daily minimum is recorded.
