Persistent southerly winds and clear skies are sustaining elevated overnight lows across North Texas, with official forecasts from the National Weather Service and global models projecting a September 13 minimum in Dallas between the upper 70s and low 80s. High dew points near 70–75°F limit radiational cooling, while the absence of a frontal passage or increased cloud cover keeps temperatures from dropping toward the long-term average low of 71°F. Minor model spread in wind speed and boundary-layer mixing creates the tight clustering around 78–83°F outcomes, with traders assigning the highest implied probabilities to those bins amid stable high-pressure conditions and no near-term shifts expected before resolution.
