Recent National Weather Service and private model consensus points to an overnight low of 55–58°F in San Francisco early on September 14, driven by persistent onshore westerly flow and a strengthening marine layer that limits radiational cooling. This aligns with the market’s leading 56–57°F bin and supports the 54–55°F outcome, while historical September averages near 56°F and recent clear, breezy nights reinforce the clustering around mid-50s readings. Lower-probability sub-50°F scenarios would require stronger offshore flow or reduced cloud cover not currently indicated, and traders appear to discount them given stable forecast guidance through the resolution window.
