Current forecast consensus from multiple models indicates Mexico City overnight lows near 12–13°C on September 15, driven by persistent cloud cover, light northerly winds, and scattered light rain that limit radiational cooling. Historical September minima average around 12°C, with rare drops below 8°C, while an intensifying El Niño pattern favors slightly drier and potentially milder conditions across central Mexico this month. Market-implied odds favor outcomes clustered around these values or the tail risk of 6°C or below, reflecting trader assessment of model spread and the narrow window for further cooling before resolution. Updated runs from agencies like NOAA and the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional will likely refine probabilities ahead of the date.
