Latest National Weather Service and model guidance from sources like the GFS project a high of 80–83°F for Los Angeles on September 14 under mostly clear skies with light southwest winds and a weakening marine layer, positioning 78–81°F ranges as the market leaders. Afternoon sea breezes and typical September climatology—where the historical average high sits near 76°F—support modest warming without extreme heat, while slight model spread on cloud cover and wind timing creates the observed probability distribution favoring the mid- to upper-70s through low-80s bins. Updated forecasts tonight and tomorrow morning will refine the exact peak before resolution.
