Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other agencies project a high of 97–99°F in Austin on September 10 under mostly sunny skies, light southerly winds, and minimal cloud cover, with heat indices reaching 105°F amid elevated humidity. This consensus, consistent with recent model runs showing no significant changes from the prior day, anchors the 98–99°F outcome at 69.5% implied probability. Historical September averages near 92°F and a 101°F record provide context, yet current steering patterns and surface conditions limit upside to the 100–101°F range (16%) while keeping cooler bins under 10%. Updated guidance tomorrow morning will refine any final adjustments before resolution.
