Current National Weather Service guidance and ensemble forecasts project a minimum temperature near 77°F for Austin on September 10, driven by persistent southerly flow advecting warm, moist Gulf air under high pressure with limited nocturnal radiational cooling. Dew points remaining in the mid-70s will sustain overnight warmth despite mostly clear skies, keeping values well above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 69.6°F. This consensus supports trader emphasis on the 76–77°F and adjacent bins while the near-even split with sub-70°F and 88°F+ outcomes reflects model spread in boundary-layer moisture and any late-day sea-breeze effects. Updated NWS point forecasts and next model cycles will refine resolution criteria ahead of the overnight period.
