An active jet stream continues to steer mixed Atlantic air masses across the UK, promoting variable cloud cover and light winds that limit strong radiative cooling. Clearer spells could allow temperatures to dip toward 13°C through enhanced longwave radiation loss, while increased cloud or urban heat-island effects may hold minima closer to 14–15°C. Ensemble model spreads from the Met Office and ECMWF reflect this narrow range, with traders weighting the consensus minimum against typical June variability and the next forecast update cycle.
