Recent Met Office and GFS model consensus points to mild overnight conditions for London on September 14, with minimum temperatures likely in the 15–18 °C range under light southwesterly flow and increasing cloud cover following Sunday’s rain. This distribution of market-implied probabilities—centered on 17–19 °C—reflects trader assessment of limited radiative cooling beneath the forecast cloud deck and residual warmth from a humid airmass. Key variables include the exact timing of any clearing, wind speeds that could enhance mixing, and small model spreads in dew-point forecasts. Historical September minima average near 12 °C, underscoring the current anomalous warmth. Updated ECMWF and Met Office runs ahead of resolution will refine these inputs for active positions.
