**Forecast consensus from National Weather Service and other models points to a daily maximum near 89–90°F for Miami on September 9, 2026, aligning with the market’s leading 90–91°F bin (53% implied probability).** Typical late-summer steering patterns and a weak pressure gradient favor easterly flow with moderate humidity, supporting afternoon temperatures in this narrow range. Scattered thunderstorms, expected mainly after midday with 40–50% coverage, introduce modest uncertainty by enhancing cloud cover and evaporative cooling that can limit peak readings. Recent observations reinforce this positioning: Miami International Airport recorded highs of 90–92°F on September 6–7 amid similar convective activity, close to the September climatological average of ~89.7°F. No tropical systems or strong frontal passages are forecast to alter the pattern through midweek, keeping the distribution centered on 88–93°F. Traders appear to weight the official NWS guidance and ensemble consistency most heavily, with the 88–89°F and 92–93°F bins each at 22.5% reflecting residual model spread in storm timing and intensity. Updated short-range model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion will likely serve as the primary near-term catalysts for any shifts in these probabilities.
