Recent residual monsoon effects and the transition to clearer, drier conditions are the main drivers behind the near-even market split on Karachi’s minimum temperature for September 20. Official forecasts and ensemble models currently indicate overnight lows of 26–28 °C under mostly clear skies and light southwesterly winds, consistent with post-monsoon stabilization and Arabian Sea moderation via sea breezes. Slight differences in nocturnal cloud cover, humidity retention, and wind speed among model runs create genuine uncertainty around the precise minimum, keeping broad low-end and high-end bins near 50 % each while narrower bins trade lower. Historical September minima average near 25 °C, providing context for the current range. Updated model runs and Pakistan Meteorological Department observations over the next 48 hours will likely narrow trader consensus.
