The tightly bunched probabilities in the World Cup most clean sheets goalkeeper market reflect broad parity among several nations with capable defenses and in-form shot-stoppers entering the group stage. Diogo Costa sits atop the field after posting 21 clean sheets during Porto’s domestic title run, aligning with Portugal’s organized backline and favorable early fixtures. Close challengers including Emiliano Martínez, Dominik Livaković, Camilo Vargas, and Thibaut Courtois benefit from comparable recent club or international shutout records, while teams such as Argentina, Croatia, and Belgium bring established defensive structures. The extended tournament format, variable advancement paths, and potential for upsets among mid-tier sides keep multiple outcomes viable and prevent any single goalkeeper from commanding a dominant share of trader consensus.
