This market will resolve according to the party of the candidate who wins the FL-25 congressional district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2026 midterm elections. The midterm elections will take place on November 3, 2026. A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).**Democratic nominee Jared Moskowitz holds a dominant position heading into the August 18 primary, giving the party a strong edge in Florida’s newly redrawn 25th district for the November general election.** The district, which stretches along the southeast coast and includes areas previously represented by Debbie Wasserman Schultz, features a competitive but Democratic-leaning electorate after recent boundary changes. Moskowitz, a sitting Democratic congressman, faces only token primary opposition from Oliver Larkin and leads polling and related prediction markets by wide margins. On the Republican side, a fragmented field of five or more candidates—including Joe Kaufman and others—has not coalesced behind a single strong contender. Traders’ 77% implied probability for a Democratic win reflects the combination of Moskowitz’s name recognition, fundraising advantage, and the district’s post-redistricting profile, while the 23% Republican share accounts for the possibility of a unified GOP effort or late shifts before November. The immediate catalyst remains the dual primaries just days away.
