Current forecast consensus from ECMWF and other models, reinforced by KNMI guidance, positions Amsterdam's maximum temperature on September 18 near 18–19°C under partly cloudy skies, moderate westerly flow, and limited precipitation. This drives the market's strong implied probabilities on those two outcomes, as ensemble spreads remain narrow at this short range and align with near-normal September conditions moderated by North Sea influences. Recent model runs show little shift, with afternoon peaks expected in the upper teens Celsius amid building high pressure. Traders will monitor the next high-resolution updates for any revisions to cloud cover or wind patterns that could alter the peak by 1°C ahead of resolution at Schiphol station.
