Latest Met Office guidance and supporting model consensus point to a daytime maximum near 22 °C in London on September 11, with modest warming possible if morning cloud breaks earlier than expected. A westerly flow and building high pressure favor mostly dry conditions, though scattered showers and variable cloud cover introduce uncertainty in the precise peak reading. Ensemble spreads show temperatures clustered between 21–23 °C, consistent with the tightly matched market-implied probabilities for those outcomes and the lower odds attached to 24 °C or higher. Historical September averages near 19–20 °C provide context, while the short time to resolution means any updated forecast runs or observational adjustments could quickly shift trader positioning.
