Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance points to a minimum temperature near 71°F in Atlanta on September 13, driven by clearing skies after Saturday showers, light northwest winds, and moderate dew points that limit overnight radiational cooling. This setup favors a low in the lower 70s rather than deeper cooling, though variable cloud timing and exact wind speeds introduce uncertainty that keeps 65°F-or-below and 72–73°F outcomes closely matched in trader positioning. The projected value sits several degrees above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 66.6°F, reflecting persistent warmth and a lack of strong cold advection. Final resolution will depend on the official 24-hour minimum recorded at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
