Current National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta indicate an overnight low near 69–71°F on September 17 under mostly clear skies, light winds, and continued unseasonable warmth running 10–15°F above the 1991–2020 average low of 65°F. Radiational cooling under calm conditions and low dew points will determine the precise minimum, with official observations at Hartsfield-Jackson or Peachtree City serving as the resolution source. Recent model consensus shows limited overnight variability, yet the closely matched market odds on sub-60°F versus 78°F+ outcomes reflect trader focus on tail risks from any unexpected cloud cover, wind shifts, or measurement timing differences rather than the central forecast range near 70°F. Updated NWS guidance and real-time station data remain the key upcoming inputs.
