Recent National Weather Service and model guidance point to a daily low in Seattle on September 23 near the historical average of 52°F, with forecasts ranging 46–52°F amid partly sunny skies and light winds. An upper-level trough offshore is maintaining near-normal early-fall conditions without strong onshore flow or radiational cooling under clear skies, while marine air from Puget Sound moderates overnight temperatures. Trader odds cluster tightly around the 52–53°F bucket because ensemble spreads and local microclimate effects create genuine uncertainty between mid-40s and mid-50s outcomes, with any increase in cloud cover or a slightly stronger marine push likely to keep readings above 50°F.
