Current forecast models from sources including ECMWF, GFS, and the Finnish Meteorological Institute converge on a September 6 high temperature in Helsinki of 15–16°C under partly cloudy skies and moderate northwest winds, positioning 15°C as the market favorite at 43% implied probability. This reflects slightly cooler-than-average conditions for early September, when the 1991–2020 climatological high stands near 17°C. Recent model runs show consistent steering patterns and limited daytime heating, with minimal disagreement across ensembles. Traders appear to weigh the stable short-range guidance heavily, though fresh 00Z or 12Z updates from major centers could shift odds if they introduce warmer or cooler solutions. Resolution hinges on the official daily maximum recorded at the Helsinki observation site.
