Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance for Miami on September 6 points to a high near 88–89 °F amid scattered to numerous afternoon thunderstorms, consistent with climatological norms for early September when moist tropical air and daytime heating trigger convection that often caps temperatures. Recent observations show a brief warm spell with a 93 °F reading on September 3 followed by cooling to the upper 80s under increased cloud cover and storms, keeping the 90–91 °F bin as the market favorite at 50.5 % while the 88–89 °F outcome holds 25.5 %. Sea-breeze convergence and high precipitable water values are expected to limit further intensification, with any model spread primarily tied to exact thunderstorm timing rather than large-scale heat advection.
