**Cloud cover and stable high pressure are capping daytime heating in Munich on September 10, 2026, positioning the daily maximum near 18–19°C.** Multiple forecast models (including GFS-based outputs) show afternoon temperatures climbing from morning lows around 10–12°C to peaks of 17–19°C under mostly overcast to cloudy skies, with light northeasterly winds and negligible precipitation. This aligns with current observations from nearby stations (e.g., Munich Airport and Oberpfaffenhofen) reporting midday readings in the mid-teens Celsius. The market’s heavy weighting toward 19°C (50%) and 18°C (36%) reflects the tight clustering of these model projections and the limited potential for additional warming. Seasonal norms place the average high at about 20.5°C, but persistent stratus and reduced insolation have suppressed temperatures below that baseline. Minor upward revisions in recent model runs have slightly favored the upper end of the narrow range, while the low probabilities assigned to 20°C+ or 17°C and below underscore the consensus around this narrow band. Resolution will depend on the official highest reading from the primary Munich station, with the day’s remaining hours unlikely to shift the outcome materially.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=eddm
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
