Current forecast models from sources like the Met Office and regional analyses point to a peak temperature in Tel Aviv on September 17 near 34–35°C under clear skies, light northwesterly winds, and low humidity typical of late-summer Mediterranean conditions. This narrow range drives the near-even market split between those two outcomes, as small differences in model resolution of daytime heating, sea-breeze timing, or slight cloud cover can shift the exact maximum by 1°C. Historical September averages hover around 29°C, so the current warm anomaly reflects persistent high-pressure dominance without significant frontal activity. Traders are closely monitoring the next model runs and official updates from agencies like the Israel Meteorological Service for any adjustments before resolution.
