Jakub Rychtecký holds a narrow lead in trader consensus for the next mayor of Pardubice ahead of the October 9–10, 2026 municipal elections, reflecting his role as first deputy and leader of the broadened Žijeme Pardubice coalition that unites multiple civic groupings. Incumbent Jan Nadrchal of ANO trails modestly, supported by his governing record on strategy, procurement, and development since succeeding the prior administration. The closely matched probabilities stem from the indirect selection process, in which the new city council negotiates the mayoral post after proportional representation voting, combined with fragmented opposition candidacies from ODS, STAN, and smaller lists that dilute any single challenger. Limited public polling and shared local experience on budgeting and infrastructure keep the field competitive, with separation likely hinging on final coalition deals or turnout shifts among key voter blocs in the coming weeks.
