Both players enter this Roland Garros qualifying match on red clay with limited recent Grand Slam experience and no prior head-to-head meetings. Luka Mikrut, ranked around No. 198, holds a slight edge in current form after advancing through early rounds at the Zagreb Challenger, where he secured victories on clay before a second-round exit. Nerman Fatic, ranked near No. 235, has shown inconsistent results on the surface, including a first-round loss in the same event after earlier wins. The outcome will hinge on adaptation to the slow, high-bouncing clay conditions typical of French Open qualifying, where baseline rallies and endurance often decide lower-tier ATP encounters.
