Coleman Wong enters this Roland Garros qualifying opener on red clay holding a modest ranking advantage over Billy Harris and a 2-1 head-to-head lead, including a straight-sets win on hard courts at the 2025 US Open. Wong’s recent form shows more consistent results across surfaces, while Harris has endured a six-match losing streak and limited success on clay at the ATP level. Both players lack extensive clay-court experience at this tier, making recent match rhythm and adaptation to the slower, higher-bouncing conditions the primary variables. No major injuries or withdrawals have been reported, leaving the outcome dependent on who better handles the physical demands of qualifying play.
