**Trader sentiment for Denver's August 31 high temperature centers on 82–83°F (37.5% implied probability) and 84–85°F (29.5%), reflecting model consensus around 81–84°F amid increasing cloud cover and thunderstorm chances.** Forecasts from sources including WeatherBug, Weather Atlas, and others show Monday highs in the low-to-mid 80s under mostly cloudy skies, with 50–63% precipitation probability from afternoon/evening storms driven by moisture and south-southeast flow. This setup limits peak solar heating compared to the clearer, warmer conditions of August 29–30 (highs near 88–93°F). Key differentiating factors include the precise timing and coverage of convective clouds, which can suppress temperatures by several degrees through reduced insolation and evaporative cooling, versus any breaks allowing stronger afternoon warming. Historical August 31 averages near 84.5°F provide context, but the approaching disturbance introduces short-term uncertainty resolved by updated model runs and National Weather Service guidance over the next 48 hours. Market odds align closely with this narrow, forecast-driven range rather than extremes.
