Sahaja Yamalapalli, the No. 2 seed and India's top-ranked player near WTA 339, faces American Anna Rogers (ranked around 255-306) in a July 7, 2026, match at the WTA 125 Cerity Partners Hall of Fame Open on grass in Newport, Rhode Island. Yamalapalli enters with strong recent momentum from strong ITF results in the U.S. during June, including a semifinal run, while Rogers brings grass-court familiarity as a home player with solid doubles experience but fewer recent singles highlights.
