Recent official forecasts from agencies including the India Meteorological Department and international models indicate a high of 30–31°C for Lucknow on September 6 amid active monsoon conditions. Persistent cloud cover, widespread thunderstorms, and rainfall—driven by easterly winds and high atmospheric moisture—limit daytime solar heating and promote evaporative cooling, keeping temperatures below the September climatological average near 32–33°C. This setup favors the market’s leading 31°C outcome at 47.5% implied probability, with 30°C close behind, as ensemble guidance shows limited upside potential for 32°C or higher without a rapid clearing trend. Traders are closely watching the next IMD update and any shifts in steering patterns that could alter the rain timing or intensity before final observations.
