**National Weather Service forecasts indicate a high near 88°F in Miami on September 21 amid scattered thunderstorms and high humidity typical of the late rainy season.** Afternoon convection driven by sea-breeze convergence and abundant moisture often caps daytime peaks, aligning trader consensus around the 86–91°F range where the market places the strongest implied probabilities. Recent model runs show limited variability, with most guidance clustering in the upper 80s under prevailing southwesterly flow and no organized tropical systems influencing the area. This setup mirrors historical September patterns where maximum temperatures average near 86–87°F but frequently reach the upper 80s when storm initiation is delayed. Updated short-range model guidance and real-time observations on the 21st will determine whether peaks edge into the 90s or remain suppressed by earlier rainfall.
