Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Denver International Airport project a high in the mid to upper 70s on September 19, with scattered thunderstorms and increasing cloud cover expected to limit peak heating. This aligns with climatological averages near 78°F while introducing uncertainty from storm timing, moisture advection, and potential clearing that could allow brief warming spikes. Earlier September warmth, including multiple days above 85°F, supports trader weighting toward the 84°F-or-higher bin at 50% implied probability, though model consensus on easterly flow and afternoon convection caps upside. Additional short-range updates from NOAA will clarify whether instability suppresses or enhances the daily maximum.
