National Weather Service forecasts for San Francisco on September 13 point to a sunny high near 71–72°F under moderate onshore flow, aligning closely with the market’s leading 70–71°F bin at 56% implied probability. Persistent marine-layer influence and westerly winds typical of the Bay Area in mid-September are expected to cap daytime warming near or slightly above the 1991–2020 climatological average of 70.8°F. Recent model runs show minimal spread, with limited potential for stronger heating only if winds weaken or offshore flow develops, scenarios assigned low probability by traders. Official observations from downtown and airport stations will determine the daily maximum for market resolution.
