Persistent warm, humid conditions driven by southerly flow and high dew points are keeping overnight lows elevated across the Houston area, with National Weather Service and multiple forecast models projecting minimum temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s for September 14. This setup favors the 78-79°F bin as the leading market-implied outcome, reflecting limited radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies and typical late-summer atmospheric moisture. Model consensus shows only modest day-to-day variation, with no strong cold front or dry-air intrusion expected before mid-month to drive sharper overnight drops. Traders are pricing in the small but non-zero chance of slightly warmer minima if cloud cover or urban heat effects intensify, while the narrow spread among mid-70s bins underscores genuine uncertainty in exact minimum readings near resolution.
